If you see a Tile Trim we stock them

Vroma manufacture high-quality tile trims and metal profiles using a range of materials including aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel. We aim to help all our customers find the perfect colour and profile suitable for your projects. As we are the manufacturers, we have full control over the production process, quality control, stock as well as design and innovation.

Our trims are used to provide a clean finished edge to tile installations. They can also be used to create decorative borders or to transition between different flooring materials. The various material options provide durability and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for use in a variety of settings, including bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces.

Where possible, we deliver all of our tile trims in protective film on the face of each length, this is to reduce the risk of damage during transport and installation. All of Vroma’s tile edge trims are available in single lengths and packaged in recyclable or reusable packaging which stays strong and rigid to protect them during transport.

We have invested a lot of time into developing the right packaging to balance eco-friendliness and durability, so all packaging can be recycled. Our fair tiered pricing structure ensures you are well looked after by the professional and personal Vroma team. We offer a next working day delivery service on all orders and trade accounts for regular volume orders or resellers.

Tile Trims FAQs
What are tile trims?

Tile trims are used to complete the edges of a tiled area, usually corners where you would otherwise be left with an exposed edge, which is vulnerable to damage and generally gives the area an unfinished appearance.

Why do I need to use Tile Trims?

If you want a clean, protected edge with a professional finish with no sharp or jagged edges then you will need to get tile trims at the edges of your tiling. The only time a trim might not be required is when tiles are flush with adjacent surfaces, negating the requirement for an edge.

Trims are recommended to conceal hard lines, shaved off sharp edges, and they seal against moisture. They also reduce the risk of the tiles chipping and cracking from impacts.

What is the best material for tile trims?

Stainless steel and Aluminium are the most popular trim material due to their very durable nature and resistance to corrosion and scratches. It has a great mechanical strength and is quite robust, although we also have a great range of Aluminium, Brass and Copper trims as well, which provide a more pleasing aesthetic and additional colours to suit your needs.

What size tile trims do I need to buy?

You should select a trim that is one size larger than the depth of your chosen tile in order to allow for the usage of adhesive. For instance, to ensure a seamless fit, we’d recommend a 12.5mm tile trim if your tile is 10mm thick.

Can I paint tile trims to match my tiles?

Yes, you can paint tile trim to match your tiles and we also provide a plastic trim, which you can easily paint with a plastic compatible paint to give a very bespoke finish. However, it is important to use the correct type of paint and to prepare the surface properly before painting.

What information do you need from me to provide a quote for tile trims?

If you aren’t sure which tile trims you might need, we can provide a recommendation based on your requirements. In order to give you the most accurate product choice, we would need the dimensions of your tiling project, the type, size and colour of tiles you are using, and any specific requirements you may have.

How to choose the right tile trim

When it comes to choosing the right tile trims, there are a few rules of thumb to follow.

First, you should select a trim that matches the thickness of your tiles. Next choose a trim colour that matches or complements your tile colour. This will create a cohesive and harmonious look.

Lastly, consider the location of your tile edge. For example, a bathroom may require a trim that is more water-resistant, while a kitchen may require a more durable trim.
